In this week’s Critical Shopper column, Mike Albo rediscovers Tommy Hilfiger — a brand that many wish would have faded to black years ago, but which is quietly cultivating some (kind of) classic gear down on Bleecker Street. Coincidentally, we happened by Tommy’s Bleecker Street boutique the other week, and found several reasonably priced (at 40% off), respectably constructed, logo-free pieces. [NYTimes.com]
