So, GQ just sent a few editors shopping — a novelty we can appreciate on several levels. First, it’s instructive to see what these well-informed underlings would do with a little extra scratch. It’s also rare to see GQ humbling itself enough to actually shop, or even admit that style doesn’t form through osmosis, or that smart wardrobes don’t appear out of thin air. There’s still no mention of the word “sale” — and nearly every product featured can be had for a fraction of its retail price — but it’s just not part of GQ‘s reality. Good thing you’ve got The Beggar to tell it like it really is.
