At Brunello Cucinelli / Michael Bastian Sale

No steals at the Brunello Cucinelli/Michael Bastian sale going down today and tomorrow, 5/4-5/5, on 57th Street between 5th & 6th Avenues. The Bastian stock — jackets, pants, knits — is all size 50, and takes up three small racks. The Cucinelli stock is far more varied and abundant, in sizes 46-to-58, along with some very nice (if not pristine) footwear in sizes 42 and 43. Everything’s 60% off, but prepare to fire up your phone’s calculator app as each piece is labeled at full retail. Oh, and a sale rep swore, “No additional markdowns.”
