Did a disgruntled someone just incinerate your entire wardrobe? Then consider yourself lucky, and head over to the Theory Men’s sample sale (really an overstock sale) for miles of suits, dress & casual shirts, pants, knits, and ties in all the right cuts, colors, and summer-friendly fabrics (in all but the most extreme sizes). Today, 6/2, is officially for VIPs, but the large loft space is virtually empty, and no one’s checking names. ‘Til 8pm tonight, (discreetly) mosey on up the single flight of stairs to access the best (overstock) event we’ve been to in some time. Otherwise, the sale goes through Monday, 6/7.
A few commenters have criticized the quality of Theory’s suits ($350) & jackets ($180), but they looked solid to our eye

Damn!!! I wish I lived in NYC!!! I’d consider driving 8 hours for all this!
Went yesterday afternoon. Got 2 pairs of pants (size 30) and 1 dress shirt. Lots and lots of pants (got the 2 last dress pants in my size..) but lots of larger (and some smaller) sizes still available. Casual shirt was more expensive than dress shirts.. but still nice stuff. Not really any wearable suits left in 36, but larger sizes, particularly 40,42,44 seemed to have lots of options. Some great outerwear if you are into somewhat trendy jackets- just not really ready to drop 200 something on them. They had REAL Dressing rooms. Felt like a store, not an overstock sale. Seemed to be getting busy as the workday ended and more strolled in… good luck!
