Billy Reid S/S Sale & Beggar Markdown

— Thu, 24th June 2010 —

We can’t think of a better way to close out a great week here at The Beggar. Not only is Billy ReidGQ’s Best New American Menswear Designer — now taking up to 50% off S/S jackets, shirts, pants, outerwear, and shoes. In addition, all Beggar readers are guaranteed an additional 15% off purchases through the end of the month. (Just remember to use coupon code at checkout.) Love this blue fine-cord sport jacket down from $600 to $350; this lilac check trim-fit shirt down from $155 to $93; this yellow waxed-cotton shrimper jacket from $600 to $350; these suede bucks from $400 to $235; …

  1. I’d like to use that, but their implementation of the checkout process seems dodgy. Comes up as unsecure on my browser.

  2. No, I know they’re on the level, it just chafes me to find errors like this where I’m not 100% sure my vital info isn’t leaking out of the checkout process. I suspect it has to do with the fact that they use some (in my opinion unnecessary) javascript frippery so that the checkout is actually on TOP of the other elements, meaning it’s not cordoned off on its own page. It’s probably fine, but I don’t know enough to diagnose a setup of mixed secure/nonsecure elements.
