What can we say? Under Mickey Drexler, J.Crew has risen from a forgettable also-ran to the foremost name in casual menswear. The Wall Street Journal‘s WSJ. magazine pays tribute to the man and his magic-making.
I like J. Crew and would be interested in the business/strategy/design behind the brand’s evolution over the course Drexler’s reign but that was a silly fluff piece about sequins and dreams and the WSJ could do a lot better. My 2 cents.
