Another Diesel Sale

— Mon, 26th July 2010 —

Tuesday through Thursday, 7/27-7/29, Diesel‘s hosting another big sale featuring bathing suits and button-ups for $20; tees for $15; denim and jackets for $40; leather shoes for $50; and kicks for $25. Before making the trip, however, we strongly suggest that you consider our review of last month’s sale — which should also explain why we won’t be covering this latest event.

Diesel Sample Sale – Diesel HQ – 220 W. 19th St bwtn 7th & 8th – 10am-6pm Daily – Map

  1. Hey CB, are you sure the pricing on this is right? Just curious since if it’s the same sale mentioned on Racked, they’ll have more stock, and (in my opinion) more importantly, Diesel Denim Gallery stuff. Which in my opinion doesn’t suffer from the quality issues of the mainline, for the most part.

  2. I went to the June Diesel sample sale and I agree with CB that it sucked but I can say that Diesel has redeemed themselves with the current sale that began this morning. I actually went there yesterday b/c racked posted it as starting on July 26 but when I got there the security guards told me that it was not open to the public and although I usually bat my lashes and get into the friends and family sales these guards were not budging. LOL.

So, I went this morning around 10:30a and I don’t regret that I did. I can say as a woman that the guys got the better end of the sale although there were fabulous finds for the women. It’s just that the men’s selection was much less expensive. I picked up two diesel black light jackets for my friend totalling $79.00, One was originally $150.00 and the other $115.00. I really got some great finds. Most diesel t shirts for men at 15.00 bucks, there are all kinds of jackets and coats. All jeans are 60% off. I got a wool cap for 10.00 bucks (this is the price on all the hats) . A majority of the jackets are between $34 to $50. There are no kicks at all. This sale didn’t have any according to the staff. I would say the women’s selections is great but more pricey. For example I got a jacket that was originally $490.00 for $147.00. A pair of jeans for $64.00 that were originally $160.00. I came out with alot of stuff and very happy quite different from the last sale. But, if you’re going to check it out it must be today as it is packed and the cashiers are slow as turtles. They are literally spending 20 minutes per customer (grrrrr..)

  3. Just came back from the sale. Not crowded at all. For mens, very little left for S save some pretty gaudy t-shirts. Decent selection of grudge type belts for size 30-32. Plenty of jeans beginning from 29 onward. I didn’t see a fitting room so I think that deterred the try before you buy types. All I left with was 2 bracelets and one schwag chain for $5 each. Retail was $30, $30 and $90! ACCESSORY SCORE! Cashiers were very slow, need to get their acts together.

  4. This sale cannot be missed!. A lot of of merchandise, obviously you would have to go early cause things are going fast.
Picked up a leather jacket that was orginally $850 for $255. a great pair of jeans originally $190 for $76. a bubble jacket that was $350 for $70 and other misc. things

  5. Went today at 1 pm and picked up a pair of cotton/linen shorts for $20. Lots of crap, but a few finds.
