At Simon Spurr’s sample sale, going through Friday, 12/3, the quality of the stock’s impeccable, and there’s more of it than a tipster led us to believe on Tuesday afternoon. We’re talkin’ a table full of denim for $95-$130; a table of sweaters for $200-$400; a rack of shirts for $95; and, oh, four or less of the following: Melton wool duffle coats down from $1,605 to $705; leather police jackets with shearling collars down from $1,395 to $508; reverse-stitch cashmere roll-neck sweaters down from $895 to $370; …

  1. How’s the selection of sizes? Looks like the denim at least is available in a good range.

  2. Full table of denim and corduroy pants. Beautiful coats. Now I am broke.

  3. Suits average about $700, Dan, but you might call ahead regarding specific styles.

Mostly medium, MC, but, again, call ahead regarding specific styles.

  4. I was told that prices will be reduced on Friday, but they will not get anymore stock. Also, they are doing a Gilt sale on Tuesday.

  5. Went to this sale also, got the dark green lamb skin jacket for 250, it was the only one left, absolutely loving it.

  6. NO small sizes in most outwear and tops. : ( Very small quantity and kind of sad sample sale.

  7. Legit SAMPLE sales usually have limited quantity, I don’t see a problem with that.
