Hog Mountain Goin’ Out Of Business Sale

— Tue, 11th January 2011 —

Going out of business sales are bittersweet affairs. No one likes to see businesses fail, but, when they do, it usually spells amazing deals. That, we hear, is what you’ll find at men’s general store Hog Mountain, which is closing up after about a year in Park Slope. During its brief existence, the shop specialized in Carhartt jackets, Levi’s jeans, Crumpler messengers, and Bill’s Khakis, along with all manner of manly gear. Now, “Socks are only $1 for a pack of 3!” writes an enthused FISL. “And not shitty Hanes socks, real fancy MAN socks.” Word is that remaining stock is going fast. [FISL via Racked]

  1. you want to like a place like this but their merchandising sucked. they couldve stocked a bunch of more appealing labels as they had/have little neighborhood competition.

  2. When I went there today there was literally nothing left, only couple pairs of Levi’s 501, some tools and that was it. Do not waste your time to go.
