Likely in lieu of an official F/W sample sale, Odin‘s three NYC locations just marked down select stock to “sample sale prices,” i.e., 75% off. “I don’t believe we’re going to be having a sample sale this season,” an Odin rep tells us. Can’t say it’s worth mourning.

Not a novelty, but I simply love when stores mark down one single item to 70-75% off and spam everyone advertising a crazy sale.
In regard to Odin’s case, just called and asked about Engineered Garments, Thom Browne and Engineered Garments stuff that I knew is in the stores. Rep went around the store and markdowns were all stuck at 30%.

odin has taken such a dive in quality over the years. they used to stock interesting labels…now, everything is goth and black or trovata (who carries trovata anymore?) and rag and bone.
Stopped by myself on Friday. Like anon said, hardly anything was marked down. Not worth it.
Went to the one on Lafayette yesterday and there were quite a few items on sale. Cheapest were some of the button downs for $79.
