Tourneau Warehouse Sale

— Wed, 9th February 2011 —

Take the inadequacy of the watch you currently own, then add your weekend plans and divide the sum by the remainder of your Christmas bonus. What you get is the likelihood that you’ll line up Saturday morning, 2/12, for Tourneau‘s semi-annual warehouse sale, featuring up to 70% off new and pre-owned watches. The event — where you’ll also find tons of Valentine’s Day-friendly jewelry, runs through Thursday, 2/17.

Soiffer Haskin – Tourneau Sale – 317 W 33rd St between 8th & 9th – 9am-6:30pm Daily – **Credit Cards Only** – 718-747-1656 – Map

  1. Went a couple of years ago. No Rolex, Patek or Panerai but lots of other brands. 50% off new watches. I found that new watches tended to be gold/white gold Cartiers, lots of Omegas, Tag, Bulgari, Baume & Mercier, a smattering of brands like IWC or Bell & Ross. Some especially good deals at 70% off pre-owned watches.

  2. Made the mistake of waiting in line for this around 2pm on Saturday. Unless your taste in watches runs to the gaudy and tacky, stay away. Saw very few quality brands- Chopard and Jaeger LeCoultre, but again, the styles ran to the huge and blinged out. Nothing that was understated.

  3. Did they have any Jaquet Droz or Glshutte Original or breguet? I know at the last one they did, but i couldnt make it there….

  4. Went yesterday. Selections not great. Lots of tourists manhandling ugly watches.

  5. This sale is really best for the valentine’s day shoppers, as there’s a good selection of quality jewelry at 70% off. Two years ago there was a good selection of watches (towards the end of the crisis) but since, nothing worth getting excited over.

However, cheers to Torneau for making my last two years (and hopefully this one too) Valentine’s days phenomenal.
