Simon Spurr Sample Sale

— Fri, 17th June 2011 —

Hope you’ve got some cash for this one. Monday through Thursday, 6/20-6/23, Simon Spurr‘s hosting his S/S sample sale featuring, well, here‘s exactly what the last event offered in terms of price and selection.

Simon Spurr Showroom – 210 11th Ave btw 24 & 25, Suite 903 – 9am-6pm Daily – 212-796-5431 x21 – Map

  1. Is anyone going to this today?? I know that the last time the button downs went pretty fast but that there were loads of jeans.

  2. Stopped by. Only a few button-downs, but there are plenty of jeans available. SPURR denim is $75 and Simon Spurr denim is $125. Some really great jackets and sweaters as well. Hardly any suits, so if that’s what you’re looking for you may want to call first. Really amazing stuff overall though.

  3. I believe sweaters were $125. SPURR shirts were $75. Simon Spurr shirts were $125. Outerwear was generally priced as marked (saw one leather jacket at $375), and they had two racks of stuff, some priced at $100 and some at $200. Hope I remembered all that correctly. Staff was nice, so you can probably give them a call if you want to know about something specific.

  4. This sale is very good. There are a few actual samples for $100 and $200. Tons of jeans, including a cotton linen jean for $40! Also they have simon spurr raw jeans in a bootcut, which is very hard to find. Also, polos for $35 and Simon spurr tees for $40. Prices will likely drop by Friday and I spotted some tees and polos that were not out yet so many they have some stock.

  5. Seth, there were a few blazers on the $100-$200 racks, but they were true samples. There were some other blazers, not sure the price though. They were plaid mostly, bright colors.

  6. Almost no suits, the few they had were around the $1000-@$1200 mark. As of yesterday afternoon they did have a 38 and a 40 (40 and 50 in euro sizes) in the charcoal grey linen suit with the ‘engineered stripes’ across the body and arms. Beautiful suit but I feel like I would get tired of the stripes ($1,000). The only one they had in other normal sizes (ie 40 or 42) was the really loud black/white plaid 3 piece from a few seasons ago. Spurr sweaters were $125 and Simon Spurr sweaters were $250 (including that really beautiful orange one from last season). Lots of tee shirts and jeans.

  7. prices already down about $25 on average. still a lot left and the super helpful salesperson says the prices are going down again in the last hour of the sale.

  8. I was also there today and they might even be up for making a deal. I asked if the prices were going to be reduced further and they said yes, but that making a deal now might happen. Tons of polos for $25, tees for $20, also cotton/linen jeans for $40, can’t beat it. Simon Spurr jeans were $100, Spurr were $50. Simon Spurr cashmere sweaters were still pricey though, at $200. Ties $20. They still had samples at $100 and $200, nice looking jackets on those racks.

  9. Just want to point out that the sales staff at this sale was incredibly friendly and helpful. Compared to the insanity at other sales, it’s a very good experience.

  10. Anon, not that I have heard, but give a call over. They are very nice. Who knows, maybe they will tell you what they have left and see if something can be worked out. Very nice people and helpful.

  11. An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto a friend who was doing a little research on this.
And he in fact ordered me breakfast simply because I found
it for him… lol. So let me reword this….
Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending time to talk about this issue here
    on your website.
