— Fri, 30th September 2011 —

Sunday through next Thursday, 10/2-10/6, Soiffer Haskin is back with another Loro Piana warehouse sale featuring serious markdowns on seriously expensive cashmere knitwear, outerwear, clothing, and accessories. For you custom guys, you can also often find bolts of cashmere and wool fabrics.

Loro Piana warehouse sale – Soiffer Haskin – 317 W 33rd btwn 8th & 9th – Sun-Wed 9am-6:30pm, Thurs 9pm-5pm – Credit Cards OnlyMap

  1. Went early today. Decent, although hardly extensive, selection. Nice, not great, ties. Some really beautiful shirts. Very nice pants. In relation to LP MSRPs, you’re looking at 50% off for clothes and 40% accessories. So, a nice shirt is around $225 plus the $25 alterations. Cashmere scarves for a mere $650. Good deals, I guess, objectively, but too rich for my blood.

  2. I did, although it’s gone hazy. If I remember correctly, the average trouser price was $200-$250.

  3. further markdown’s were 5% more on trousers and sport jackets. Some outwear is now 65% off. Still really expensive, as most of the jackets original price is around 4K.

  4. They didn’t mark down the shirts and trousers at all? That’s about all I’d care to pick up at these prices.

  5. I saw one of the associates printing out markdown signs. It looks like they will go to 90% at some point

  6. No, I saw them printing it. Probably going up in the next two days

  7. Did the shirts and pants wind up coming down? If so, by how much?

  8. Went yesterday evening. The pants had come down a little further, as had a few coats, but everything is still pretty expensive. On the coats, the selection in size 50 was getting thin.

  9. The bolts of fabric are the best deals.
90% Vicuna for $800, 4 yards. It’s the best price I’ve seem ever for this luxury fabric.

  10. Caught the last hour. Scored a chino-style pant for $82.60.

  11. Really? That makes them more expensive than the supposedly most-expensive-suit-in-the-world: the Kiton K50.
