  1. Any word of a preview tonight? That’d make my weekend worthwhile. Don’t hold back on info . . . .

  2. Hosts are friends and they said no preview… but friends have lied to us before.

  3. Hands down awesome. One of the better sample sales I’ve been to recently. Great selection of ties and cufflinks going for approx $10-20 for ties and $10 for cufflinks. Shirt selection was limited and I didn’t try anything on, but what they had looked nice. Several suits were available, but nothing in 40R – my size. If you want smaller or larger or are just going for sport coats there are probably some options for you.

There were about 4 Scarpe Di Bianco shoes left when I went this afternoon. One pair of sleek black loafers sleek and a pair of walnut dress slip ons stood out in particular. These are going for $300 ea, down from $895 retail.

  4. They had an interesting selection of beautiful suits that they were practically giving away. Of course, the trick was hoping something was at least close enough in your size that a tailor could make it perfect. I got very lucky and found a brown peak lapel suit that nearly fit me like a glove for $99. Easily a $1000 value and probably only needs a few bucks of alterations. I hope MAB continues this tradition and has one of these once or twice a year.
