  1. my understanding is that it’s an overstock sale. inside source.

    menswear MAN

  2. I just stopped by! Lots of good quality stuff: t’s around $50, dress shirts about $85, cotton pants and dress pants $100 or so; outwear $250. Not cheap but the days of actual sample sales with $20 Helmut Lang slacks (I was there) are long gone…..No accessories (shoes, hats, scarves) that I saw

  3. Pretty good selection across sizes. Agreed with Corey that the economic-meltdown pricing days might be gone (and hopefully that’s for the best at a macro level), but the pricing is pretty much the same as you’d get on Gilt, which S&H are on relatively often. Obviously a better experience to be able to touch and try on the items, and maybe that’s their thinking about keeping prices the same as online sales, but for an in-person sale I would have liked and expected to see 15-20% lower than this. Maybe there’ll be markdowns, didn’t ask. But, definitely a sale worth checking out.

  4. Also, pretty sure the outerwear was $350, rather than the $250 noted above.

  5. no varsity jacket.. everything fit me fairly oddly and judging by the lack of approving looks of the people working there, i think i was right. they did have ALL sizes.. xs-L which was really exciting but i still walked out empty handed. had their stuff fit me the way i wouldve liked, i probably would’ve splurged

  6. Stopped earlier this afternoon. The people working there were friendly and all sizes were represented. Not a huge amount of inventory and not great prices though. The only thing I saw that I liked was a button up, but I didn’t think it was worth $75. If you’re in the market for a suit, it might be worth stopping by as there were quite a few blazers, some of which had the matching pants. If they do markdowns later in the week, I’d probably go back.

  7. Nice people. They were handing out beers! I bought a blazer for $225 (pre-tax), which seemed like a good enough deal, as I really need one. It looks good, but I didn’t even think to ask if there were matching pants. Der.
