Jil Sander Sample Sale

Word’s out on Jil Sander‘s semiannual sample sale, featuring up to 85% off ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories. Officially, the normally-secretive sale goes from Tuesday through Saturday, 10/16-10/20. It’s historically been “invite only,” but gets easier to access with every passing day.

  4. Oh, I posted here last time that I had two extra suits from the sale that I am SLIGHTLY too short to wear. (Aspiration is a bitch.) Like 85% off. They are size 44 (34), one regular and one more or less long; both just beautifully made, super soft virgin wool and impeccable construction, and slim cut but not psychotically cyborg Saville Row hourglass. One is plain charcoal and the other is an even darker charcoal with a fine herringbone pattern. I just made up a Gmail address for dealing with this and post: samplesaleextras@gmail.com, if anyone wants a $2.5k/$3k suit for about $450+tax. Good luck with the line for anyone braving it this time: men’s normal suits are mostly giant sizes. If that’s what you’re looking for. No bags, no ties. Not very much for men generally.
