Gant Sample Sale
  1. Last Gant sale was a bust

I’m still going to check this one out, but I’m half expecting prices to be just standard department store sale prices again (everything was about 50% off last time)

  2. Everything is 70% off retail across the board. Decent deal if there are particular items you like (plenty of Gant by MB) but no steals. Apparently MB OCBDs retail for $185 now? Crazy.

  3. I luv this sale! I wonder if they will have larger sizes like xxl. Anyone know? Or waist size 42? I lost some weight so I need new clothes!

  4. All sizes. Great if you are outlier sizes (xs, xxl) but less stock than previous sales if you are S, M, L.

  5. Note that this is different than the sample sale. This is a “warehouse sale”. It’s all fall/winter items from the past season. All currently priced at 70% off retail. The sale is heavy on outerwear. All sizes available.

  6. They have some great shoes, mostly in larger sizes. I picked up a size 12 Berson for $67. There are a lot of belts, ties and there are a few good sweaters in every size, though you can expect all the good M/Ls will be gone by the end of the day. The shirt selection in M/L is not NEARLY as good as the last one.

  7. I stopped by last night and it was still 70% off everything. Surprised not to see any extra discount.

  8. Went today and was still 70%. No lines and still plenty of merchandise. Surprised no additional markdowns.

  9. Hey Ryan- Just found this site through the Gant tewttir account and they posted this pic. I love those 1907’s. Are they actually a good winter boot? I’m in grad school in Cambridge, MA and need a solid boot for the coming winter; is this it? If not, any recs?
