  1. Collared shirts (polos and button downs) were $25. Shorts and pants were also $25. Not sure about coats, sweaters, shoes. If you are looking for size L in polos and tees you will be largely out of luck – I got there right at the open and the selection in L summer shirts was just a handful.

  2. Watch out- not such good deals- bought a T shirt for $15, got it home and original tag was tucked in sleeve-$9.95

  3. Went yesterday. Bought a pair of raw denim 770 jeans for $40, two medium polos at $15 each, and a made in England silk pocket square for $15. There are good deals to be found if you know what you’re comparing against, and if you are focused.

  4. I second Sam’s comment above. Some very legit deals if you are willing to dig into the bins and racks and actually select things with care. As with previous J. Crew sample sales, button-down shirts (long and short-sleeved) are $25 including Thomas Mason — that’s a good value considering the Ludlow collared shirts retail for 80 and the Thomas Mason for 125. All denim $40 including selvedge. Dress shoes for around 100 or so, sneakers for 50 including collaborations with Asics and Nike, although selection was limited. Trousers 50, jackets/sport coats 120, outerwear in the 120 to 150 range. I picked up a rather natty English tweed Ludlow suit for 170 — retail price was probably over 600. A few good finds in the accessories bins, too. It’s worth a pop in over lunch break or before work (they are open at 8 AM).

  5. Found a pair of Chimala jeans in my size for $40, but not sure if there were any other pairs. Also 2 beautiful pairs of Alfred Sargent suede, crepe sole chealsea boots in 11 1/2. Lots of stuff in size 32 and medium.

  6. My programmer is trying to convince me to move to
.net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of
the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less.

I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for
about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform.
I have heard great things about blogengine.net.

Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?

Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

  7. Just went today. Shoes are basically gone, but plenty of sport and suit jackets in size 40R, and separate section where you can hopefully find the matching pants, mostly size 32. Also, plenty of button down casual shirts in mediums, plus jeans and chinos, again lots in size 32.
