Word from Bowery Boogie is that Amoskeag XX just shuttered its Orchard Street shop. The premium denim maker’s Web site is still live, but doesn’t appear to be selling anything. Ralph Lauren Sample Sale A Bust

So, about the public portion of Ralph Lauren’s sample sale — slated to begin Tuesday, 6/8. Turns out it’s only for the women. Oh well, it might be for the best as reports from the private sale were less than glowing.
