The old pair will need to be “store approved,” one A.P.C. clerk tells us. For most people, jeans only appreciate in value over time, so we’ll be interested to see how this effort pans out.

This ain’t Copyranter, but we couldn’t let this gratuitously phallic Timberland ad go unnoticed. We’re not offended, but we can’t get our heads (cough, cough) around the fact that a conservative company like Timberland would let this go to print. Incidentally, we actually like the new Earthkeepers boot being advertised in the campaign. Very much, in fact.
