Friday only, 3/18, Panta Clothing plans to hold its first-ever sample and stock sale featuring unlined 6 fold ties in wool and cashmere for $99; 6 fold printed silk and grenadine ties, also $99; cashmere and cotton pants for $199 and $249, respectively; and a nice selection of fabric bolts from the best English and Italian mills, which you can have made into ties and pants. (Not a custom/bespoke service, you can choose the fabric but items will be made to Panta’s existing patterns/sizes.)
If you’re not familiar, our friend and Put This On blogger Jesse Thorn recently reviewed Panta’s handywork. Regarding Panta’s unlined, heavy cashmere ties, Jesse cooed, “I’m absolutely wowed by their quality.”
Also expect a selection of CEGO shirts, including its new ready-to-wear line, “Do Not Starch,” for $75-$125.

Friday and Saturday, 3/18-3/19, Patrik Ervell is hosting his semiannual sample sale on Howard Street, adjacent to Opening Ceremony HQ. Ervell’s sales are notorious for getting cherry-picked in the first hour, and don’t expect any restocking. Also, in the three years we’ve covered these events, Ervell has never hosted a pre-sale.
