Complex just ran a nice “Ballin’ vs. Bugdet” feature focused on military (a la olive) basics and accessories. Interesting to compare, say, Supreme shorts for $118 ( on sale online for $82) to L.L.Bean “Bush” shorts for $35. (Worth the price discrepancy? You decide.) Bigger picture, while its popularity ebbs and flows among fashionistas, military gear never goes out of style. We’d actually suggest wearing less of the stuff during peak popularity periods (like right now) so as not to appear overtly ‘on trend.’ We’d also discourage you from wearing more than one military article at any given time unless you’re actually enlisted or on your way to a costume party.
