Seriously, though, we’re coming up on our two year anniversary, and could never have made it this far without the encouragement and support of our devoted community of readers and contributors. A huge thanks to each and every one of you. Going forward, our singular mission to get guys into better clothes for less money (and fewer headaches) remains unchanged. Gentleman’s Resale is where wealthy Upper East Side men take their Zenga suits after gaining a few pounds, and their Hermès ties after a wear or two. The result is a nice selection of conservative high-end menswear, all of which looks and feels virtually brand new. While a little out of the way on 81st between 1st & 2nd, the store is like a miniature version of Barneys Warehouse Sale, but open year round. Also, as a bonus, the experienced staff doesn’t work on commission, so you can always expect honest feedback.
