Report from the field: “Treked over. Made me feel destitute. Even at 80% off (for some damaged goods) you’re talking a MSRP of $2k for a sportjacket, $800 for a sweater and so forth. The deal: some seasonal pants were 75% off towards the back – but don’t come and expect to spent less than $175 for ANYTHING. Beautiful quality, however. I must make more money…”

On Monday, Barneys kicked off their first sales of the season. We’re talking 35-50% off select dress shirts, ties, shoes, and a smattering of pieces from the main floor and sportswear.
