Tuesday through Sunday — and we’re guessing Monday, but you might need to be on some list — the Metropolitan Pavilion is hosting its semiannual Dolce & Gabanna sample sale. Last time, the best deals were the suits and jackets for a fraction of their retail price.

Note: Guys are always asking about great deals on nice wedding wear, which can actually be quite hard to come by. At the last sale, we found racks of some very sharp formal wear for under $400.

The good news? Monday through Thursday, Clothingline is hosting a Jack Spade sample sale. The bad? “We received a very limited selection and very limited quantities of merchandise,” reports the sample sale host. “This includes limited selection / quantities of assorted bags, document envelopes and more.”

As such, you’d probably do better online.
