Couple standouts among unassuming — yet mostly wearable — F/W stock at the Archetype sample sale going through Saturday, 11/13. Come Christmas, any guy would be lucky to get one of the five soft-leather IRO bombers we found for $350 each. A modest selection of quality YMC knits and outerwear. Rack-and-a-half of Won Hundred denim, shirts, and the like. Four large racks of men’s stock, total.

Few steals, but some beautiful F/W stock at the Martin Margiela/Dsquared/Victor & Rolf sale going through Saturday, 11/13. Keeping in mind that prices are usually cut in half toward the end of the sale, here‘s what we found on Thursday afternoon.
Through Friday night, 11/12, get over to 57th St for 60% off Brunello Cucinelli and Michael Bastian overstock. The Bastian stock — jackets, pants, knits — is sparse and all size 50. The Cucinelli stock is more varied and abundant — in sizes 46-to-58 — along with some nice footwear in sizes 42 and 43. By most standards, we should say, this stuff is still quite expensive.
