And despite the dutiful service, polished setting, and superior selection, we don’t consider Leffot a luxury — or least an extravagant one. On the contrary, most of its loafers, boots, brogues and moccasins are just smart investments. Sure, those Pierre Corthay oxfords for $1,150 might be pushing it (particularly if it’s your fifth pair), but, as we’ve said a million times: A well made shoe is the safest place to put your hard-earned cash.
