Call it overpriced and pretentious or investment-grade and elemental, Band of Outsiders is probably the most polarizing “preppy” brand since Ralph Lauren. At retail, its price points are hard to stomach, but Band’s refined color palette and playfully grownup aesthetic has always appealed to us.

The idea is to invest in foundational pieces to create a “uniform” that will hold up both physically and style-wise.
